Independent hip-hop mogul Tech
N9ne will be coming through Port
land on Thursday, Sept. 26, per
forming at the Roseland Theater on
his "Something Else Tour 2013" fea
turing fellow artists Krizz Kaliko,
¡Mayday!, Stevie Stone, Prozac and
Ces Cru.
Named for Tech N9ne's 13 th stu
dio album, the 50-city tour is the first
time in two years that the rap vet
eran has gone on the road following
a major album release, and bringing
all new music to his fans.
Tech N9ne, also known as Aaron
Dontez Yates is a native of Kansas
City, Mo. In 1999, he and Travis
O'Guin founded the record label
Strange Music. Throughout his
career. Tech N9ne has sold over one
million albums and has had his mu
sic featured in film, television, and
video games.

30, topped the charts, claiming the
No. 2 rap album in the country, and
No. 4 album in the country. It fea
tures a diverse roster of music su
perstars, including The Doors, Serj
Tankian, Kendrick Lamar, CeeLo

a variety of sounds and styles, from
rock to hardcore rap.
