A father and son duo from Oregon City
managed to match all six numbers to the June
24 Megabucks drawing. As a result they won
the$16.3 million jackpot; both have chosen
to receive annual annuity payments rather
than a lump sum.

In a blaze that has scorched over 8,400 acres
of land in Arizona, 19 firefighters were killed
on Monday. All 19 were found in last ditch
survival shelters designed to protect them­
selves from the flames. The deaths are cur­
rently under investigation.

A performer was killed Saturday during a
Cirque du Soleil show in Las Vegas. The 31 -
year-old identified as Sarah Guillot-Guyard
was being hoisted up 50 feet in the air then
suddenly plummeted. The show has been
cancelled indefinitely
