fresh start in em ploym ent, hous­

getting a second chance to erase
traffic tickets, m inor crim inal con­
victions and some civil court ju d g ­
m ents.
The one night only event com ­
m ands a $500 per person ticket,
which will include dinner over­
looking the W illam ette R iver and

The Portland Marathon will review
its security procedures following
the explosions that rocked the Bos­
ton Marathon Monday. Organizers
said they will review and further
improve existing protocols in ad­
vance of the Oct. 6 event.

Gresham Police found a missing 6-
year-old girl safe and unharm ed
early Sunday m orning nearly 12
hours after she was reported m iss­
ing. Police said they arrested the
girl's m other in connection with
the disappearance after finding
the pair hidden away in a Gresham
hotel room.
