In that spirit, American Music Festival brings three new works, two world premieres and one West Coast pre miere, in an ambitious program that spans a wide spectrum of musical genres. Pontus Lidberg’s new work immerses us in a world of hypnotic liquidity, while Trey McIntyre explores the territory of the American pioneer spirit, with its charac teristic grit, determination and hope. Matthew Neenan infuses virtuosic technique with humanism. American Music Festival premieres Thursday, April 18, at 7:30 p.m. and runs for eight performances through Saturday, April 27. Tickets start at $23. For complete show times, visit obt.org. Alison Rober and Lucas Threefoot in rehersal for Trey McIntyre’s Robust American Love. Join the chorus!
