Teen Killed
in Daytime
Shooting
Police have identified 18-year-
old Edward Jewell Paden Jr. as the
victim of a fatal, broad daylight
shooting last week.
Police say the murder may be
gang-related. It occurred around 2
p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, when
several shots were fired at the Valero
Gas Station lot at Northeast 60th
Avenue and Killingsworth Street.
No arrests have been made. As
the investigation is ongoing, police
have not yet released any suspect
information.
Detectives believe there may be
witnesses who left the area before
talking to police.
