co nd ition s fo r receivin g tuition w aivers a t PCC.
3. M aintain up -to-date know ledge o f e ligibility rules, and a ssu re
th a t the athletic office has all the inform ation needed fo r com pletion
o f e ligibility form s and records.
4. A ssu re th a t p la ye rs co m p le te all re q u ire m e n ts to p la y and
practice (e.g., com pletion o f financial aid applications, en ro llm en t in
required courses, m e etin g with aca d em ic advisor, and oth e r item s
in the Player Agreem ent).
5. W ork with th e assigned aca d em ic a d viso r and ath le tic s ta ff to
track p layers’ acad em ic progress.
6. W ork w ith ath le tic s ta ff to sch e d u le ath letic e vents, a b id in g by
the league sch e d u le s se t up by th e region co m m ission ers.

T ra n sp o rt te a m s to events and provide su p e rvisio n before and
after gam es; m eet all scheduled obligations; w ork with athletic staff
to m anage travel money, insure safety, and prom ote safety and ethical
behavior.
8. A ssu re th a t ga m e score s are reported to th e N W A A C C office
and local m edia, an d th a t statistics, receipts, and o th e r required
p aperw ork is subm itte d in a tim e ly m anner.
9. Insure th a t a th le te s have co m plete d physical e xa m s and are
trained and conditioned.
10. Be fa m ilia r w ith a n d c o m p ly w ith all b a s k e tb a ll p o lic ie s ,
I procedures, rules and regulations, in clu d in g N W A A C C rules related
to eligibility, p laying season dates, p re-gam e activities, travel sq u ad
size, protests, hom e team resp onsibilities, scrim m a ge rules and
co nference to u rn a m e n t schedule, etc.
11. Teach basketball fu n d a m e n ta ls and coach stu d e n ts to achieve
th e ir potential.
12. A tte n d N W A A C C an d S o u th e rn R e gio n c o a c h e s m e e tin g s ,
in cluding preseason and postseason S outh ern Region m eetings.
13. Prom ote the basketball program to stu d e n t body, faculty, and
com m unity. A ssist the ath letic d e p a rtm e n t in fu n d ra isin g efforts.
14. C a rry out oth er resp onsibilities as assigned.
