Fhe Alpenrose Dairy Easter Egg Hunt returns on March 30, the Saturday before Easter.
Easter Egg Hunt Back On
Last year Alpenrose Dairy Easter Egg Hunt got
rained out for the first time in 50 years, but the Annual
Easter Egg Hunt is back on for the 51 st year which will
take place March 30, the Saturday before Easter.
This free event is hosted by Alpenrose on the
pastoral setting of the 97-year old dairym and has
become a special treat and tradition for families and
their kids since 1962.
The day’s excitement will begin at 10:30 a.m. for kids
ages 3-5 as they hunt for chocolate eggs, toys and
other fun treats. The hunt for kids ages 6-8 will begin
at 12 p.m. Children often end up with a bevy of
treasures from the hunt.
“Hosting the Easter Egg Hunt is a real thrill for us
and given the fact that we had to cancel due to the rains
last year, this year’s hunt is even more special to all of
us at Alpenrose,” said Carl Cadonau Jr., Alpenrose
president. “We look forward to all the kids coming out
and filling their baskets.”
Egg-hunters are encouraged to arrive early since
parking is limited. Alpenrose is located at 6149 S.W.
