The Portland chapter o f the
NAACP will be holding its an­
nual Freedom Fund Banquet at
the Red Lion Hotel Portland
Convention Center on Satur­
day, Feb. 23.
Founded in 1914, NAACP
Branch 1120 is the oldest con­
tinuously chartered chapter of
the national organization west
of the Mississippi.
