Schedules for
MLK Holiday
TriMet will modify its normal holiday schedule for
the M artin Luther King Jr. holiday on M onday, Jan.
21.
The changes match ridership dem and as more
people use mass transit on the M LK holiday than any
other holiday o f the year, TriMet officials said.
M AX light-rail and WES commuter rail will run on
regular weekday schedules as will 45 heavily-trav
eled bus lines. But 10 bus routes will run on Saturday
schedules and 24 lines will be canceled, including the
five lines serving Marquam Hill.
Buses running on Saturday schedules are Lines
4 8 ,5 2 ,6 2 ,7 1 ,7 2 ,7 5 ,7 6 ,7 7 ,7 8 and 88. Canceled
bus routes are Lines 1 ,1 8 ,2 8 ,2 9 ,3 4 ,3 6 ,3 7 ,3 8 ,3 9 ,
4 3 ,4 7 ,5 0 ,5 1 ,5 3 ,5 5 ,5 9 ,6 1 ,6 3 ,6 4 ,6 5 ,6 6 ,6 8 ,8 4
