Esperanza Spalding is coming
back for another public concert and
VIP reception to help raise money
for Vancouver’s Battle Ground High
School band program. The Grammy-
winningjazz vocalist and bass player
was part of a fund-raising concert
for the band last year as well.
She will be joined at the Monday,
Nov. 26 concert by an array of per-
form ers, including saxophonist
Patrick Lamb and his Funkified Band;
Israel Annoh and Janice Scroggins;
and the Battle Ground High School
Intermediate Jazz Band, Advanced
Jazz Bandand Vocal Jazz Ensemble,

to 9:30 p.m. at Crossroads Coipmu-
