FrightTown — Three of the most horrifying haunted houses return
to Memorial Coliseum during the month of October for FrightTown,
a production co-produced by the local 1031 Community Theater
group. Parents are warned about the scary nature of the haunted
houses and should use caution when bringing young children.

Halloween Carnival — Dress in your Halloween best for a night filled
with ghostly games, frightening good food, creepy crafts and many
more festival events. The Halloween Carnival at the Mt. Scott
Community Center, 5530 S.E. 72nd Ave. will take place on Friday, Oct.
26, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Halloween Monster Mash -- The Peninsula Park Community Center,
700 N. Rosa Parks Way, takes place Friday, Oct. 26 from 6 p.m. to 8:30
p.m. The frighteningly fun and free family event will include games,
crafts, food, prizes, face painting and more. Costumes are highly
encouraged.
Haunted Maize - Every Friday and Saturday night in October, and
of course on Halloween, the Haunted Maize at the Pumpkin Patch on
Sauvie Island opens its un lit pathways to let brave patrons wonder
through four acres of terrifying twists and turns. The haunt is perfect
