T he N A A C P will host their fall
convention, w hich represents the
three states o f W ashington, A laska
and O regon, on Friday, O ct. 19
through Sunday, O ct. 21, at the
H ilto n H o te l in d o w n to w n
V ancouver.

clude breakfast meals, multiple w ork
shops and a luncheon w ith regional
k e y n o te sp e a k e r D ire c to r S ean
D ugar on Saturday. L ater that day,

w ill speak at the conference b a n

and has becom e a civil rights activ
ist in h er ow n right. In 1995, she was
elected N A A C P C h air o f the B oard
o f D irectors, w here she w orked to

organization.
