Memorial Coliseum during the month of October for FrightTown, a
production co-produced by the local 1031 Community Theater group.
Parents are warned about the scary nature of the haunted houses and

Maze Adopts ‘Portlandia’ — The Portland MAiZE ventures into its 14th
season at the Pumpkin Patch on Sauvie Island by celebrating “Portlandia,”

Seven Guitars - Portland playwright Kevin Jones directs a Portland Artist
Reparatory Theatre premier of Seven Guitars, a story exploring the buried
romances, resentments and aspirations of African-Americans in the 20th
Century by playwright August Wilson. Performances through Nov. 11 at
the Morrison Stage, 1515 S.W. Morrison.
T sunami Artifacts on Display -- T wo pieces of the massive 201 ton dock
that was washed away from a city on Japan’s northeast coast by the
devastating March 2011 tsunami and that landed on Oregon’s Agate
Beach this past June have now arrived at the Oregon Historical Society
in Portland. The two metal boat tie offs are on display in the “Treasures
of the Vault” exhibit through Dec. 30.
