Days of Culture Celebration
Tokyo Band at Mississippi Pub
Mono is bringing their thunderous live show to M ississippi Stu
dios, 39 39 N. M ississippi Ave., on Wednesday, Oct. 3. The neo
classical Tokyo rock band is known for its dynamic lives sets.
Doors open at 8 p.m. The show starts at 9 p.m.
The first week of October will see hundreds of cultural events
occurring throughout the Portland metro area thanks to the Oregon
Cultural Trust's "Days of Culture" celebration.
From a historic film on the timber industry to a gay and Lesbian film
festival, the events are tremendously diverse, according to organizers.
They include an exhibit on the history of Chinese-American aviators at
the Multnomah County Public Library, an Oregon Symphony kids'
concert, tea ceremonies and classes at Lan Su Chinese Garden.
Days of Culture began in 2008 as a Day of Culture, celebrating the
birthday of the Oregon Cultural Trust
