Largest Dance Ever on Sunday
Portland's White Bird dance group pre­
sents Le Grand Continental, starring 150
Portlanders who’ve taken a break from their
day jobs as FedEx drivers, professors, city
planners, etc. to learn and perform the
company’s season opening production.
Le Grand Continental’s premiere features
line dance, infused with contemporary move­
ment that incorporates the rhythms of coun­
try, techno, cumbia, waltzes, and R&B.
Two free performances will be held Sun­
day, Sept. 30 at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. at Pioneer
Courthouse Square, downtown.
For three months, volunteer photogra­
