P ortland C enter for the P erfo rm ­
ing A rts is celebrating its 25th y ear
w ith a free, fam ily-oriented celeb ra­
tion on Sunday, Sept. 16, from noon
to 5 p.m .
“ W e ’ve enjoyed tw o and a h a lf
d ecades as the co n v en er o f arts
events in the P ortland m etropolitan
area and w e invite the public to jo in
us in celebrating our silver an n iv er­
sary,” said R obyn W illiam s, PC PA
executive director.
The afternoon will include hourly
live perform ances by groups such
as P o rtlan d T aik o and P o rtlan d
O pera, craft activities for kids, a rti­
san booths, face painting, scav en ­
ger hunts, and behind-the-scenes
theater tours.
