Summer Reading Fun — Children are invited to have fun and improve their
literacy skills through a Summer Reading program at branches of the
Multnomah County Library. The program is open to kids of all ages, from
birth to high school students.

Japanese-American Incarceration — Oregon Nikkei Legacy Center, 121
N.W. Second Ave., invites the public to a visual exploration of graphic
prints depicting the regrettable American internment camps for people of
Japanese descent during World War II. The exhibit will be on display
through Sept. 2.

market location in the Kenton Neighborhood of north Portland, where
