The Sustainability Department of Metro, a metropolitan service
district organized under the laws of the State of Oregon and the
Metro Charter, located at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR
97232-2736, is hereby requesting sealed proposals for sale of
Orenco Woods development parcel.
Sealed proposals are due no later than close of business on
September 7, 2012, in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand
Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Sharon Stiffler,
Procurement Analyst, RFP 13-2175.
A mandatory pre-proposal conference is scheduled for August 21,
2012 at 2:00 p.m. at 600 N.E. Grand Avenue, Room 401, Portland,
OR 97232-2736. Interested Proposers must attend the conference
in qrder to be able to propose on this RFP.
Metro is issuing this RFP In conjunction with the City of Hillsboro. Metro
is requesting proposals from qualified firms and individuals for
Metro’s and the City’s disposition of real property described in more
detail in the RFP.

be answered at the meeting and if appropriate, an addendum will
be issued. The pre-proposal meeting will be held at 10:30 am on
August28,2012 at New Market West, 135 SWAsh Street, Portland, Oregon
97204 in the Columbia Room (6th floor).
Home Forward is a public corporation serving all Multnomah County.
Home Forward provides housing and housing-related services to
those who face barriers due to income or disability. Home Forward’s
housing and rent assistance programs serve 33,000 residents
though out the county. A citizen com mission, with volunteer
members recommended by the City of Portland, the City of Gresham,
and Multnomah County, and approved by the Portland City Council,
governs Home Forward.
Stephens Creek Crossing is a HOPE VI Redevelopment of Hillsdale
Terrace. Stephens Creek Crossing will be built on the site of the
former Hillsdale Terrace public housing development. The site is
located on SW 26th Avenue, south of SW Capitol Highway and
Mittleman Jewish Community Center, 6715 SW 26th, Portland, OR
97219. Stephens Creek Crossing will have 20 residential buildings,
an Opportunity Center building and a children’s center on the
approximately 6.5 acre site in a campus-like setting. Building
construction will begin in August 2012 with re-occupancy of the site
expected to begin in January 2014.
