Beaverton's annual summer Picnic in the Park series on July 14,
an event featuring free food, prizes and music provided by the
Beaverton Community Band.

an evening of summer fare as
Beaverton kicks-off its 1 Oth an­
nual Picnics in the Park series
Monday, July 9 at 6 p.m. in
Carolwood Park, 14950 S.W.
Carolwood Dr.
“These picnics bring our com­
munity together in a safe and
welcoming setting,” said Mayor
Denny Doyle. “This is a great
occasion to have face-to-face
conversations with local leaders
and meet your neighbors in one
of Beaverton’s beautiful parks.”
New to this year’s Picnics in
the Park are the dinner options
of Qdoba Mexican Grill or a
slice of Garlic Jim ’s Famous
Gourmet Pizza. Informational
booths about city programs and
services will be available along
w ith re p re s e n ta tiv e s from
Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue,
the Beaverton Police Depart­
ment and Tualatin Hills Park &
Recreation District.
