As entrepreneurs face challenges
from the cu rren t state o f the
economy, one local university pro
gram is determined to help small
businesses succeed.
The Business Outréach Program
at Portland State University is dedi
cated to assist small and local busi
nesses, including emerging minor
ity and women-owned entrepre
neurs, achieve their potential.
“The Business Outreach Program
was originally created with the in
tent to provide students with the
opportunity of community-based
learning in order to give back to their
community, aligning with PSUs
motto of letting knowledge serve
the city,” said Lara Damon, director
of the program.
