leads growth
For the 19th consecutive term,
Portland Community College has
grown.
This spring term, the college grew
by 3.9 percent in credit enrollment
to a total o f 9,644 full-time equiva

headcount to 45,967 students.
The figures come from the
college's fourth week report on
enrollment, the standard week for

At Providence Health eXpress,
public employees with minor com
plaints can see a board-certified
clinician by secure video. The goal
is to diagnose and treat the em
ployee quickly, so they can get
right back to work.
“This is a great example of how
we can reorganize the health care
delivery system to be more cost
effective,” said Kitzhaber at last
week’s ceremony. “In this model, it
really changes how individuals re
ceive health care.”
“This partnership is an example
of how teamwork can really trans
form health care,” said Greg Van
Pelt, chief executive for Providence
Health & Services in Oregon.”This
is a natural extension of our pio
neering spirit, not just in Oregon,
but for the entire country.”
