(AP) — Michael Jackson's glittery gloves, spangled
jackets, stage-worn costumes and personal fashion effects
are going on a world tour.
Celebrity auctioneer Darren Julien says clothing created
by Jackson's longtime costume designers will be exhibited
in South America, Europe and Asia before being sold to the
highest bidder in December.
The exhibit opens May 18 at the Museo de la Moda in
Santiago, Chile. It features items such as Jackson's Captain
EO shirt, the black spandex outfit from his "Scream" video
and the breakaway suit he wore during his BAD tour in the
late 1980s.
The items will be sold by Julien's Auction on Dec. 2, with
a portion of the proceeds benefiting
Guide Dogs of America and Nathan
Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas.

Very Much
Favors Obama
(AP) — Betty W hite says she
usually keeps her political views
private, but in this presidential
election, she strongly favors one
candidate.
As she prepares to visit the
Smithsonian Institution and Na
tional Zoo next week. White told
The Associated Press she "very,
very much favors" President Barack
Obama in the election.
The 90-year-old actress said Friday
she is very bi-partisan and has stayed
away from politics all of her life. She
usually never says who she is for or
against because she doesn't want to
turn off any of her adoring fans.
White says, however, in this
year's election, she likes what Obama
has done and "how he represents
us. " Her comments come after Hol-
lyw ood turned out at G eorge
Clooney's home to raise $ 15 million
for Obama's re-election, a record for
a single fundraiser.
