King Farmers Market Returns
P ortlan d F arm ers M arket
and resid e n ts o f north and
northeast Portland celebrated
the opening of the King Port­
land Farm ers M arket Sunday
and the return of 35 vendors
selling local farm -fresh pro­
duce, m eats, cheeses, baked
g o o d s an d o th e r sp e c ia lty
foods.
The King M arket season will
continue every Sunday until
Oct. 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
at King School Park, located at
N ortheast Seventh Avenue and
W ygant Street.
Throughout the season, King
M arket will organize activities
like fam ily-friendly kids cook­
ing classes, educational infor­
m ation fairs, and barbeque
fundraisers.
