T he underground lot w ill provide 220 parking spaces - a net increase o f about 75 spaces. G atew o o d said in selecting the underground parking option ov er an above-ground option, the c a m ­ pus w eighed cost; benefit to the com m u n ity ; safety, security and operational issues; efficient use o f land; o p p ortunities for future c a m ­ pus d evelopm ent; and im pacts to the adjacent N orth K illingsw orth business corridor.
