Theater’s ‘Shackleton's Antarctic Nightmare. ’
Portland Story Theater presents
Shackleton's Antarctic Nightmare.
Written, directed, and performed
by Lawrence Howard, this is a story
about Ernest Shackleton and his
epic voyage of The Endurance in
1914, and how he and 27 men sur
vived on the ice for almost two years,
eventually coming to safety.
It's truly a story of the indomi
table power of the human spirit.
