Portland’s W hite Bird D ance Series presents the
return o f the Trey M cIntyre Project, one o f the m ost in-
dem and acclaimed dance com panies in the United States.
A rtistic D irector T rey M cIntyre has choreographed
m ore than 90 w orks for ballet com panies around the
w orld, including six ballets for O regon Ballet Theatre.
His 10-m em ber com pany, based in B oise, w ill p er­
form an exhilarating program that draw s inspiration
from dream s, m usical legends, the daring ‘gravity
h ero es’ o f N iagara Falls, and N ew O rlean s’s intriguing
culture, set to stirring scores by R oy O rbison, A ntony
& the Johnsons, and N ew O rlean s’ Preservation Hall

The evening begins w ith In D ream s, set to O rbison’s
spare rom antic ballads.
Perform ances are at 7:30 p.m . T h u rsd ay , D ec. 1,
through Saturday, D ec. 3 at the N ew m ark T heatre,
