largest Veteran’s Day Parade will
take place Friday morning at 9:45
a.m., Nov. 11 in the Hollywood District.
Starting at Northeast 40th Avevnue and Tillamook
Street, the parade will march south to Northeast Sandy
Boulevard and conclude at Ross Chapel, 4733 N.E.
Tillamook. Volunteers are asking the public to bring
useable blankets needed for homeless Portland veter­
ans, that can be tossed into a passing parade wagon.

OMNIMAX: Flying Monsters — For audiences of all
ages, OM SI’s new IMAX film. Flying Monsters, takes
viewers to a prehistoric world. The world’s leading
naturalist Sir David Attenborough sets out to uncover
the truth about the giant flying reptiles whose wing­
spans of up to 40 feet compare to that of a modem jet
plane.
Footlight Frenzy - Portland Community College’s
Theater Arts Program send their comedic skills into a
frenzy with the fall term showing of, “Footlight Frenzy,”
a play about a desperate attempt to save a bankrupt
school. Tickets are $10 general admission, $8 for se­
niors, students, and staff, and are available at the PCC
Sly vania Bookstore. Performances start Thursday, Nov.
10 and continue through Sunday, Nov. 20 at PCC
Sylvania's Performing Arts Center.

Roadhouse 101; Friday, Nov. 25 at Trail’s End Saloon;

Mel Brown Live - Portland jazz giant Mel Brown
performs at Salty s on the Columbia every Friday and
Saturday night. Known as the “Gentleman of Jazz,”
Brown has a career spanning over 40 years.
