Clowns Without Borders Show
Our First
Priority
The benefit will raise money
for Clowns Without Border to
send teaching and performing
groups to Haiti over the next
year to work with thousands of
children living in tent camps, as
well as to work with teachers
and camp leaders.
Portland’s Lichtenstein and Sa
rah Liane Foster each have led
multiple trips to Haiti in the last
few years, and there’s a Clowns
Without Borders group in the
country now. Clowns Without
Borders USA also just returned
from the tsunami zone of Japan
and is active in several other crisis
areas around the world.

Portland's circus and physical
theater community will come to
gether for the 14th annual benefit
for Clowns Without Borders, a
Portland-based group that strives
to relieve trauma through laugh
ter in areas of crisis around the
world.
The magic, music and fam
ily-friendly show, which regu
larly draws between 400 and
500 people, takes place Friday,
Nov. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at Da Vinci
M iddle S ch o o l, 2508 N .E.
Everett. Tickets are on a sliding
scale, $10-25 adults, $5-10 kids
12 and under.
Headline performer this year is
Patrick McGuire, on break from
his day job as a featured juggler
with Cirque deSoleil. He will join
Charlie Brown, funniest juggler
alive; comedy cowboy Leapin’
Louie Lichtenstein; Noah Mickens
(aka William Batty) of Wander
lust Circus; physical comedian
Angel Ocasio; Strong Woman
Terra Zarra; Brittany Walsh and
her arrows of amazement; and
much more.
