Oregon Episcopal School will
install Mo Copeland as Head of
School on Friday, Oct. 7. She re
places interim Head of School Kathy
Layendecker as the top administra
tor. The school provides a college-
preparatory curriculum for students
in pre-kindergarten through 12th
grade.
Copeland spent 11 years as head
of Saint George’s K-12 school in
Spokane. Before that she was an
administrator and physics teacher
for 11 years in Seattle.
Copeland said she is excited by
the school’s inquiry-based aca
demic program in both the humani
ties and sciences that have helped
students achieve national recogni
tion and acceptance at top colleges
and universities nationwide.
