Episcopal School
Leader Chosen
Oregon Episcopal School will
install Mo Copeland as Head of
School on Friday, Oct. 7. She re­
places interim Head of School Kathy
Layendecker as the top administra­
tor. The school provides a college-
preparatory curriculum for students
in pre-kindergarten through 12th
grade.
Copeland spent 11 years as head
of Saint George’s K-12 school in
Spokane. Before that she was an
administrator and physics teacher
for 11 years in Seattle.
Copeland said she is excited by
the school’s inquiry-based aca­
demic program in both the humani­
ties and sciences that have helped
students achieve national recogni­
tion and acceptance at top colleges
and universities nationwide.
