Portland Fashion Week is here with a stellar lineup of runway shows with some of the most exciting designers in the country. From Project Runway all-stars and winners to world-known eco-sustain- able designers, an extraordinary array of designers will debut their collec­ tions at the Vigor Industrial Shipyard in Swan Island from Wednesday, Oct. 5 through Saturday, Oct. 8. Michael Costello from the All-star show, Seth Aaron (winner of Season 7), alum Jay Sario, as well as a designer from the currently airing season, will be showing never-before-seen collec­ tions. Anna Cohen, whose eco-sustain- able high-fashion collections have been adorning the pages of global fashion media, will launch two lines designed by her. Ethos Paris and Lenzanita are two other widely know eco-fashion collections returning to Portland Fashion Week. Open Road Integrated Media, the digi­ tal company co-founded two years ago by former HarperCollins CEO Jane Fried­ man, has reached an agreement with Walker to release the electronic version of "The Color Purple" and most of her other work.
