This new service is made avail­
able through "patron-driven ac­
quisition.” This means that the
library pays for books only as
patrons use them, responding
to user interests without making
perm anent purchases or taking
shelf space.
Each title can be viewed online
and downloaded for up to seven
days. To view a title, a library
cardholder simply clicks on the
title in the library catalog and
enters his or her library card num­
ber. There is no limit on the num­
ber of people who can access an
e-book sim ultaneously, or to
how many times an e-book can
be viewed.

This love story of sharpshooters
features Sara Catherine Wheatley
as Annie Oakley, Logan Benedict
as Frank Butler and Ron Harman as
Buffalo Bill in a Wild West show-
within-a-show that's fun for all ages.
Performances continue through
Oct. 16 at the Lakewood Center for
the Arts at 368 S. State St. in Lake
Oswego.
Tickets are $32 for adults and $29
