The Sustainability Center of Metro, a metropolitan service district
organized under the laws of the State of Oregon and the Metro
Charter, located at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-
2736, is hereby requesting sealed bids for Native Seed.
Sealed bids are due at 2:00 p.m., October 11, 2011, in Metro’s
business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-
2736, Attention: Sharon Stiffler RFB 12-1988.
The contract contemplated consists of native plant seed to be used
for restoration projects on Metro-owned lands. The Contractor shall
supply native wild collected or field grown seed (local genotype) of
the seed species listed under Schedule of Bid Prices. Bids will be
based on the lowest unit price for each seed species. Multiple
contracts may be awarded based on seed availability and price.
Bidders do not have to bid on each species. The Request for Bids
can be viewed and downloaded at M etro’s website http://
www.oregonmetro.gov, click on "Doing Business”, then "Requests
for bids and proposal”.
Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or
waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is
deemed in the public interest.
