M etro is se ekin g p roposals from qualified firm s to provide design,
co n su ltin g and co ntra ct m an age m en t services, in clu d in g but not
lim ited to e xh ib it design, a rch ite ctu re, en gin ee rin g, su stain able
practices and cost estim ating, to com plete the New Elephant Habitat
and related sub-projects.
A Pre-Proposal M eeting will be held on W ednesday, O ctober 5 ,2 0 1 1
at 10:00 AM (P acific D aylight Sa vings Tim e) in the S kyline Room of
the C ascade C rest B anquet C e n ter at the O regon Zoo, Portland,
O regon. The m e etin g will include a tou r o f the site area fo r the New
Elephant H abitat and associated sub projects. Proposers and the ir
P ro je c t Team m e m b e rs o r th e ir re p re s e n ta tiv e s a re s tro n g ly
encouraged to attend this P re-Proposal M eeting.
The scope of w ork is to provide design, co n su ltin g and contract
m an age m en t se rvice s, as outlined in the P rofessional S e rvice s
C o ntract (Ap pend ix A), in cluding but not lim ited to exh ibit design,
architecture, engineering, sustainable practices and cost estim ating,
to co m plete the N ew Elephant H abitat and related su b -p ro je cts as
outlined in the C o m preh ensive Capital M aster Plan P re-Schem atic
D esign S u b m itta l, E le ph an t H abitat and R elated In frastru ctu re
