Green Festival at Peninsula Park
In an effort to celebrate young
fa m ilie s d e d ic a te d to a g re e n e r
lifestyle, residents from throughout
the com m u n ity w ill be gathering
to g eth er at Peninsula Park on S u n ­
day, Sept. 25 in north Portland at the
6th annual G reen S prouts Festival.
A long w ith several fun fam ily
activities and m usical perform ances,
the free ev en t w ill feature exhibits
from local green businesses, and
hold sem inars focusing on natural
and healthy child-rearing.

G uide, the festivities w ill celebrate
the natural and healthy options for
ex p ectin g parents and young fam i­
lies. T he organization also invites
the public to help set the w orld
record fo r the m ost persons w earing
a baby carrier, w hich has n ev er been
attem pted before.
