From unexpected sculptors to
paintings of intrigue, Guardino
Gallery, 2939 N.E. Alberta St.,
is featuring the works of a group
of artists for its September show.
In the Main Gallery are
Kendall M ingey’s works in £
bronze; creations of unique
and u n ex p ected sc u lp tu res.
Kathleen Powers, with paint­
ings of intrigue, shows fable-like
paintings and drawings that ex­
hibit an underlining core of dis­
quiet, and often, uncomfortable
beauty.
Other artists featured through
Sept. 27 include Carolyn Hazel
Drake, who builds mixed-media
porcelain ceramic sculpture, and
‘Atlas, ’ a bronze sculp­
ture by Kendall Mingey.
