Chamberlain
O ur beloved Aunt Eva Mae
Chamberlain died peacefully in her
sleep at home. She was the third
child of seven c li i Idren bom to Rai ph
and Susie G reen, in Burleson
County, Caldwell. Texas. All have
preceded her in death.
Eva was not afraid of work: how­
ever, she decided to better her living
conditions by continuing her edu­
cation.
She was an avid reader and was
always solving Word Jumble, the
scrambled word game, in the Orego­
nian newspaper.
Eva had no children, but they
always gravitated toward her. She
kept them engaged in playing ball
and solving math problems.
She became a teacher at Catlin
2337 N. Williams Ave.
Portland, Or 97227
Gable School in 1957. There she
challenged many students to reach
for the stars. She was an amazing
woman w ith many talents.
She leaves tocherish her memory:
