The 15 piece electric guitar opera replaces typical classical instru­ ments with an army of electric gui­ tars, keyboards, and drums, while Classical Revolution redefines clas­ sical music with style and comfort. The theme, “Sympathy for the Devil,” involves a heavy dose of “Diablo in musica,” including the Danse Macabre, selections from Gounod’s Faust, Chopin, The Roll­ ing Stones, The Beatles and plenty more surprises. Musician’s Stolen Trumpet Found When a thief ran away with the custom-made trumpet of Portland’s most legendary musician, Thara Memory, it was a major concern because it was the only trumpet he could playing following a series of finger amputations. It was his prized horn. Luckily, Memory later got a call from a man who said he found the trumpet along Highway 30 in North­ west Portland. Memory had been moving into a new condo in the Pear District when a thief smashed in his car window and stole the custom-made trumpet. “There is only one of these horns and it’s made only for me,” he said.
