The Top Down summer rooftop
film series takes place atop the park
ing garage at the Hotel deLuxe on
Southwest 15th Avenue and Yamhill
Street every Thursday evening, July
21 through Aug. 25.
Festivities begin at 8 p.m. with
entertainment provided by live lo
cal bands and refreshments avail-
able from Gracie’s Restaurant, Tazo
Tea, Viso, and MacTamahan’s Brew
ing. As soon as the sun sets, the
films will begin.
Highlights include the opening
night sci-fi film Missile to the Moon
(1959), accompanied by Portland’s
own Filmusik performing live the
original soundtrack they composed
for the film.
