Pastor and First Lady Appreciation
Allen Temple CME Church is inviting the community to join
them for a Pastor and First Lady Appreciation night honoring
Rev. Dr. LeRoy Haynes Jr. and his late wife, First Lady Cynthia
Jenkins Haynes, on Sunday, June 5, at the church, located at
4236 N.E. Eighth Ave.
Dr. Haynes will be honored for his 13 years of service as church
pastor. A special memorial tribute is planned for First Lady
Haynes, who recently passed after a courageous battle with
lupus.
This year’s theme is “Good and Faithful Servant of the
Lord,” Matthew 25:21. Guest speaker is Rev. Dr. Lynn R. Mims,
pastor of Barak Christian Church in St. Louis, Mo.

Blessed Harris and Beaulah Louise
Lambert.

Wilson (Charlie) and Cheryl L. Wil­
liam s-F letch er; g ran d ch ild ren ,
Shawn Leon (Harris) Lacy, Yolanda
H arris, Sharletta M arie H urst,
Yvonne Sheree (Norman) Williams
and Javares Lee Harris; eight great
grandchildren; a sister- in law, Aunt
Willie Lee Harris; and a host of
nieces, nephews and friends.
The family thanks hospice pro­
viders and everyone who prayed
for our mother during her transition
from earth to glory.
