Shots Fired in Southeast
On T uesday M ay 17, 2011, Portland
Police O fficers arrested a 53-year-old
arm ed m an after he fired shots in S o u th ­
east Portland in the parking lot o f a bar.
O fficers from the East Precinct re­
sponded to the report o f shots fired in
the area o f 15920 Southeast D ivision
Street, w here they located R udolph Jo ­
seph G oldbacher outside o f M o n teg o ’s
B ar around 12:30a.m .
A rm ed w ith a handgun, he dropped
the firearm before taken into custody by
the officers. Police on the scene learned
G oldbacher was in the area to purchase
narcotics w hen he got into a dispute
w ith som e people, w hich resulted in him
M ay 18. 2011
