Southern Styles Greets New Customers
A northeast Portland couple are
greeting new custom ers and express­
ing thanks for the startup o f their new
hair salon business. Southern Styles
and Barber shop at 5130 N.E. M artin
Luther King Jr. Blvd.

possible.” Sam and Secret Bryant
said. “Then it is our spiritual inspira­
tional team o f coaches R osa T, Sam
Bryant Sr., Daryl and Kathy Hewitt,

Hopkins, the NDCC family and Teresa
(R. I.P) w ho were always ready to give
us the needed support o f direction,
finances, prayers and inform ation.”
Secret Bryant said she also gives
personal thanks and m uch love to her
husband Sam for his 15 years o f un­
conditional love, leadership and for
his em otional, physical and financial
support to m ake their dream com e
true.

wanted to make their dream s com e
true. They w anted to ow n and to
operate their ow n business. The road
from Dallas to the W est Coast was
chosen as their destination point.
Sam entered into Barber College
while at the sam e time giving birth to
their first business. Southern Styles
and Barber LLC. The process was full
o f ups and dow ns too, ju st like the
journey to Oregon. But once again
their prayers were answered.
In January, Southern Styles and
Barber opened and the couple’s dream
was launched. A nd with their dream,
they will give the local com m unity a
full m easure o f their true spirit of
Southern hospitality in all o f their
services, conversations and in the
atm osphere o f their business estab­
lishment.
Sam and Secret Bryant would like
to w elcom e both old and new, from
near and far and from every walk of life
to Southern Styles and Barber “where
satisfaction is m ade fam ily.”
“W e hope that our story will in­
spire you to dream ,” the couple said.
