cess to more of the materials they
want, in a format that is convenient
and accessible while being highly
efficient for the library. We antici­
pate that this will be a very popular
new service.”

USB device, such as a flash drive or
MP3 player.

vice. M ultnom ah County Library
is collaborating with other librar­
ies to offer patrons this service
around the clock.
To text a question to a librarian,
a patron sim ply sends it with the
word m ultcolib to 66746. A librar­
ian responds within a few m in­
utes. There is no charge to use the
service, other than the users stan­
dard text m essaging rate.
