N C A A G o v ern an c e,” a free
forum fo cusing on the so cio ­
eco n o m ics o f m o d em college
sports, its im p act on race and
com m unity relations, is held in
the M ulticultural Center.

from noon to 1:30 p.m ., also at
the M ulticultural Center, “C on­
versation C ircle: B rothers and
in 1919 and w as an in sp ira­
tio n a l fig u re fo r b o th the
w om en's and ci vil rights m ove­
ments.
O n T h u rsd ay , Jan. 20, from
n o o n to 1:30 p .m . in the
M ulticultural Center, there will
be in in teractiv e session b e ­
tw een stu d en ts on R ace and
M edia M atters. T he event will
tackle the thorny issue o f racial
disparities and depictions in both
the old and new m edia.
