Lisabeth Marziellotco-chief execu­
tive officer of Boys & Girls Clubs of
Portland, has been named the national
organization’s Executive of the Year
for the Pacific region.
Mrs. Marziello has more than 19
years of experience within the Boys &
Girls Club movement. Alongside her
husband J oe Marziello, the couple has
successfully managed multi-faceted
operations in Portland, Green Bay,
Wise., and Utica, N.Y.
Under the Marziello’s leadership,
the Portland Metropolitan Area Clubs
have witnessed significant operational
gains, resulting in enhanced return on
donor investment, and development
of increased opportunities for local
youth.
For example, administrative ex­
penses for the local organization have
been reduced from 18.6 percent in 2002
to 8.2 percent today, enabling more
dollars to be allocated directly to pro­
grams and services for youth.
The physical reach of the organiza­
tion has also increased under the
couple’s guidance with the creation of
additional facilities and after-school
sites.
