M oody is best know n for his 1949 hit "M oody's M ood for Love," an interpretation o f the 1935 ballad "I'm in the M ood for Love." W ynton M arsalis told the San D iego U nion-T ribune that M oody w as a "titan o f o u r m usic." M oody w as n om inated for four G ram m ies.
