The Parks and Environmental Services Department of Metro, a
metropolitan service district organized under the laws of the State
of Oregon and the Metro Charter, located at 600 NE Grand Avenue,
Portland, OR 97232-2736, is requesting sealed bids for 5-Gallon
pails and 1-gallon cans for the Latex Paint Recycling Program.

The contract contemplated consists of supplying approximately
40,000 5-gallon pails and 60,000 1-gallon cans. The pails shall
contain at least 20% recycled plastic and be labeled with either
paper or off-set printing. The cans shall contain 100% recycled
plastic and be labeled with paper. Price adjustments shall be
considered based on approved resin commodity indexes. The
contract shall be awarded either entirely to one Contractor, or to
one pail and one can Contractor.
Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or
waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is
deemed in the public interest.
