Grassharper Invitational Celeb­
rity Gala and G olf Tournament,
presented by Royal Rosarían, 30
year mentor and coach o f chil­
dren and former Portland Trail
Blazers’ Michael Harper, will
be held at E m bassy Suites,
Washington Square on Sunday,
Sept. 26 and on Monday, Sept.
27 with a day o f golf at The
Reserve V ineyards and G o lf
Club in Aloha.
The Grassharper Foundation,
founded by Harper, provides as­
sistance to children, families and
the c o m m u n ity , th ro u g h
fundraising, community outreach
and collaborating w ith local
nonprofits. The foundation pro­
vides scholarships, grants and
educational support to instill in­
tegrity, honesty and a positive
attitude in our children for the

This year’s gala and golf tour­
nament proceeds will also ben­
efit Park A cadem y School,
People o f Purpose and Associ­
ates, and Minority Information
Outreach. Each organization’s
mission is to promote character
development, confidence, and
team work through education,
volunteerism and com m unity
outreach.

the gala and tournament,” said
Harper.

have announced that all 82 games
will be broadcast in high defini­
tion for a second consecutive
season, highlighting the 76-game
local broadcast schedule that tips
