Free “Whole House Makeover“ and “Kitchen Design and Remodeling“ Seminars Set October 9 and 13th at Neil Kelly Showrooms

2010 edition o f free remodeling seminars
continues Saturday, O ctober 9th at the firms
Lake Oswego showroom and W ednesday,
O ctober 13th at both Lake Oswego and
North Portland showrooms.
The popular seminars started in 1974 at Port
land Community College campuses and local
high schools as a way for area homeowners
to learn more about their homes, understand
the remodeling process and gather ideas.
Award-winning Neil Kelly designers teach
all sessions and share trends in design, infor
mation on new materials and techniques, as
well as review on the professional design/
build process. The free one-hour sessions
are informal in style, allowing for plenty o f
questions and discussion.

• 9:30 am, certified master kitchen and bath
designer Randi Reed will present a seminar
about Whole House Makeover including key
elements o f a major professional whole house
remodel, from planning and design through
each stage to completion. She will show ex
amples o f recent successful major remodel
projects.
• 10:45 am, certified master kitchen and bath
designer Randi Reed will present a seminar
about Kitchen Design and Remodeling, in
cluding the latest in design trends, creation
o f an efficient workspace, and trends in cabi
nets and appliances. She will also show sev
eral recent projects to illustrate her topic.
• 11:45 am, a Dacor appliance cooking dem
onstration and complimentary menu tasting is
scheduled in the Neil Kelly showroom kitchen.
• 12:45 pm, certified bath designer Rhonda
Knoche will present a seminar about Bath
Design and Remodeling, covering current
design trends and information on fixture se
lection. She will showcase recent award
winning bath projects.

Campbell will present her Bath Design and
Remodeling seminar, offering the latest in
design trends and new products. Janel will
walk through a few innovative bath remodel
projects to demonstrate the creative possi
bilities.
Wednesday, October 13:

land:
• 12:30 pm, certified kitchen designer Karen
Richmond will present a seminar about
Kitchen Design and Remodeling, including
the latest in design trends, creation o f an
efficient workspace, and the latest in cabi
nets and appliances. She will also show sev
eral recent projects to illustrate her topic.
Both Neil Kelly showrooms will remain open
until 3 :00pm on Saturday and until 5:30pm on
Wednesday so visitors can explore kitchen
and bath exhibits.
