The festivities will continue Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 11 and 12, in acolorful sustainability- themed outdoor festival featur­ ing live music; sustainably pro­ duced food, beer and wine; in­ formation booths and vendors selling green goods; educational workshops; discussion panels and fun activities for families and children. Both the keynote address and outdoor festival take place on the grounds o f St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 2408 S.E. 16th Ave. The theme o f this year’s event is “Nourishing Spirit: City to Farm,” embracing the festival’s mission o f promoting sustainable living practices within our local communities, thereby enhanc­ ing the health o f our world, our neighborhoods and ourselves.
